Spyderco's second generation Tasman Salt 2 is a powerful fusion of a hawkbill blade profile, ultra-corrosion-resistant H-1 blade steel and an improved injection-molded handle design. The result is an incredibly capable pocket cutting tool, ideal for anyone working in or around water. Available with a fully serrated PlainEdge or SpyderEdge edge, the Tasman 2's curved blade literally "picks up" the material it cuts, drawing it into the concave edge like an animal's claw. This dynamic generates extreme cutting power, especially on fibrous and difficult-to-cut materials such as nets, wire, straps and ropes. The blade is housed in an improved handle design based on Spyderco's best-selling Delica 4. Injection molded from durable, ultra-light yellow or black fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN), it features improved ergonomics, a two-way textured non-slip pattern, and a set of stainless steel threaded anchors for a versatile four-position titanium pocket clip .
