This professional chef's knife has been designed and manufactured thanks to decades of experience of forgers and skilled craftsmen who have earned a great reputation, these craftsmen are not only great forgers, in addition, they know the needs of today's cooks, therefore, this knife combines 150 years of experience in the factory of Boker.
The result is a knife with dynamic lines, excellent handling and grip and a great cutting capacity that has made it a knife recommended by the largest distributors.
The solid blade made of molybdenum vanadium steel, a perfect steel for making high-quality kitchen knives, is handmade and hand-forged in the Boker factory, structurally optimized and achieving a hardness of 58 HRC. In order to give the blade a longer life and a more special cut, sharpening is done by hand.
The handle ensures a firm grip and protects you from cuts in case of slipping. A feature of this steel knife is the slightly curved spine, this makes the knife easy to handle in any position and there is no unnecessary pressure on the hand, even if great pressure is applied to the spine. The perfectly proportioned walnut wood handles give it an elegant and attractive touch.
The Santoku knife is becoming an increasingly popular knife in Europe. It is a Japanese knife with the original shape of a common kitchen knife. Translated, the name means “the three virtues”, so it is suitable for meat, fish and vegetables. Thanks to its wide blade, the Santoku is particularly easy to handle.
